Starting here
This used to be a company brochure. I'm done with that.
jamesnetworks.net is my site. I live in Clinton, Missouri. I have thirty years in IT, a consulting practice, an education company, a 3D print shop, some league apps, and a pool cue I take too seriously. This is where I'll write about what I'm actually doing — the work, the learning, the water, the table, and the rest of it.
If you came here for paid consulting, that's Henry County Consulting. It has its own door. Workshops live at AI for Missouri. I keep those separate on purpose. Mixing the notebook with the invoice is how you end up with a site that doesn't tell the truth.
What I'll write
Weekly, as a rule. Every weekly post highlights one hosted build you can open and see. Not a screenshot of a slide. A URL. This week that's this site.
Some weeks that's a real post. Some weeks it's a short note. Daily when the work is interesting enough to share and I can do it without padding.
I won't write "10 AI tips." I will write when I shipped something, when I was wrong, when a local shop taught me a better way to see a process, when a match went the way it shouldn't have, or when I want a record of the season I'm in.
Faith will show up when it's relevant. I'm a Christian. I don't use that as a heading. It shapes how I show up: honest about limits, no hype, stay humble, do the work.
How this is built
Markdown files. A small build script. Cloudflare Pages. Same boring stack I use everywhere else. If you want to follow along in a reader, there's an RSS feed.
If you want to say hello: david.james@jamesnetworks.net.
